My photos are all looking so 'samey', but I am loving the peace this has brought to life. The picture shows the dogs running for home on the last leg of their walk this morning.

We were chatting at the Farmers Market about the problems the snow has brought, but in my mind outweighing some of the problems is this sense of coping, of going back to basics, getting the important things done and saying 'sod it' to the rest. Seeing your family and animals are well fed and cared for. Doing the chores and then snuggling up in the house until the next round of jobs mean donning those all so important layers and braving the cold.

Taking time to re-assess your life, it's what a new year and new decade are all about.

Tomorrow I will load the photos of the Farmers Market I did yesterday, but for today I am deep in thought and I need time.

ReplyDeleteI imagine there'll be hot summer days when we'll yearn to be deep in snow - and thought - again...
ReplyDeleteHey Sue,
ReplyDeleteThis snow has been a real blessing for us as a nation! Our community came alive, there were people out walking instead of passing in their cars, and hearing the children as they came down the grassy hill at the end of our street was a sound I haven't heard in ages!
the only reason there is all this moaning is because no-one has been able to make any money out of us, because snow is FREE!
