Ginger ... and John

Thanks for all the good wishes for Ginger, he's almost back to normal now, after days of being off his food and barely drinking he had about half his usual breakfast and tea yesterday and all of his breakfast this morning.

I knew he was feeling much better and brighter because this morning he joined us for the doggy walk around the paddock for the first time in two weeks.

It's nice to have him back to his usual chirpy self.

Wedding bells are ringing out for my brilliant Blogging Buddy John Gray, of Going Gently fame when Dr Chris Burton finally makes an honest man of him.

Congratulations from all of us here on this little bit of Welsh hillside further along the coast from yours, we hope you have a fantastic day tomorrow and brilliant future life together.

All our love.

Sue, Lovely Hubby and all the four and two legged critters xx

  3. Glad Ginger is better . . . my husband always says when out cat is off his food, that he must have eaten a bad rat!
However, every so often there is the relics of a mouse or two, with their gall bladders intact. And we have had two rats and a weasel being shown off as plunder. Love Andie xxx

    1. Our dog ate a rat and was horribly ill! We were living in rented accommodation with a small stream at the bottom of the garden. The dog found a dead rat there. It was Christmas Day and my mother in law was drying the dishes, looked out the window and said she thought the dog had something hanging out of her mouth.

    2. Rosy and Ginger between them eat a LOT of mice, rats and rabbits, there's no stopping them, but that's why they're on the payroll !!

I guess Ginger finally got a yucky one, poor thing (the creature AND Ginger).

  9. So happy to hear that Ginger is better. Love that pic of him all cuddled up in bed. Mine would never consent to being photographed, even when ill. Lovely news about John too. x

  11. Awww, glad to hear that Ginger is feeling better. I have a real soft spot for ginger toms, I'd love one but Daniel developed a cat allergy after our cat died, he ends up gasping for breath if he so much as strokes a cat, so I can't see one in our future. Best wishes to John and Chris.
