Looking forward to the weekend.

I'm looking forward to this weekend, it's the first car boot sale of the season and although there is so much going on at the moment we have decided that, weather permitting, we will be there.  The truck is already filled to bursting with lots of our things deemed totally unnecessary after the move.

We are determined to declutter once and for all and to STOP spending our hard earned pennies on things that we don't really really need.

I will update my £2012 in 2012 Blog page after the event and we will see just how much we can get with this first load.

Thank you for all the lovely comments on yesterdays Blog post.  They help, they really do.  My Lovely Mum reads each and every one, and usually my Blog is syndicated around the family, so everyone now knows what a wonderful bunch you are.  Thank you.

Sue xx

  1. Your family sound so supportive of one another. And all there to remember your dad. Mr Sft and I loved the photo of him being cheeky with his food. Lovely to have a dad with a sense of humour. We also liked the photo of him and your mum in the garden, helping their daughter out, just like mine do.

I think the boot sale is a good idea. It will help you to focus on something and I'm sure you'll do great. The weather should be good too, not too warm or cold.

Looking forward to hearing how you get on.

    Hugs

  2. We've still got stuff in our loft and shed from when we moved here 2 years ago.....if it's still there after all this time then clearly we don't need it, so should get rid of it!!! We must follow your lead, Sue, and do a boot sale.

I'm glad you and your Mum are comforted by what you read here in the comments - it's just so brave of you to share your lives and thoughts with us. I hope you can go forward with love and memories in your hearts.

Good luck with the boot sale.

    Regards, Sooze xx

  5. We did an indoor car boot sale a few weeks ago and I was able to clean out a lot of stuff we no longer needed. And took home some cash 'to boot' ;)

That little pug face reminds me of a mug I saw today...so adorable :) Have a look at the link

  11. How lovely that your mum reads your blog and comments - I honestly can't seem to get anyone in my family to read mine! Even Mike. Hopeless.

As others have said, you seem to have a wonderfully loving and close family.

Hello Sue's mum, sending love to you all.
