Basil and me

The smell of Summer - Basil potted on from it's toilet roll tube starter pots.
~
Chilli and Peppers now potted on.
~
The Grape Vine, happily stretching out across its strings.

A busy day in the polytunnel, tidying, potting and planting. Blogger may have been missing in action for the day but you can see where I've been!!

  1. I have tubs full of herbs merrily growing, even in less than sunny Lancashire. Basil is now huge but has to be kept indoors, it is like me it wilts if it gets cold. I am addicted to the smell of it - wonderful stuff - great sprinkled on tomatoes on toast.

  2. Sue,

Your basil is thriving. For some reason, I've never been able to successfully grow basil.

  3. You put my seed planting to shame. I have a tray of lettuces and a bit of rocket, although I do have a row of spring onions and about 6 carrots!!! Not the best of gardeners. My tomato plants are looking great though. Well done with the basil we can never get it to grow. Ann x
