Signs of Spring

All the signs of Spring are here.  There is blossom on both the Almond trees in Nut Wood.

Ginger joining in all the doggy walks, he just loves the sunshine.

Jack the cockerel is extremely frisky in the mornings ... with all the hens ;-)

And Mother Goose is once again broody.  It's almost time to pop a few eggs under her to get this years babies.

And of course the sun is shining, the daffodils are in full bloom and it's seed planting time.

Yep ... all the signs of Spring.

  1. And doesn't it make one feel good Sue?

  2. It's a much better day than off shift I won't be so lazy!

  3. Do you actually get any nuts of that almond tree or is it just ornamental? We have a plum tree (chosen by the builder), but it is just ornamental.

  4. It's amazing what an effect it has on my psyche to see the sunshine! Love the fact that ginger accompanies you on the dog walks :)

  5. Beautiful, and so good for the spirit. Enjoy!

  6. It's been a lovely couple of days here in Stockport - I am just hoping it stays for the weekend!! Spring is a gorgeous time of year, especially as we seem to wait such a long time for it to arrive. Look forward to hearing about you (or Mother Goose) hatching chicks - is this something you do each year? Have a good weekend. Regards, Louise S, Cheshire.
