Just a quick update to show you what I found when I went to look at the eggs at 6 o'clock tonight.
~
Two of the occupants are making their way into the big wide world.
~
And when I spoke to them......'chook, chook, chook'......they answered and made a bigger effort to escape their cosy eggs, which then rocked frantically backwards and forwards....soooo cute!
~
More 'eggciting' news tomorrow.....I'm SO excited!!

ReplyDeleteQuick update, by 9.30pm last night we had one very tired little chick with his wings draped over his siblings eggs cheeping for his Mummy....of course I was right there to cheep back at him!!
I'm being good and not diturbing them until it is natually light in Chick City (the spare bedroom), I felt guilty last night switching on the light.
Sue xx
That should of course read 'disturbing'........
ReplyDeleteWe hatched a duck egg once in an incubator and I can still remember how exciting it was. Keep us updated Sue x
