Just Mavis .... looking very smart standing in the paddock.
She's a much more confident little doggie now and can be trusted to mooch about the place a little bit if we are around. She comes when she's called, and goes up into our woodlands or into Chicken World rather than towards the road.
Massive improvements for a dog that had such a bad start in life.
We love her to bits.
Just Mavis.
Yes Suky ... we love you too :-)
Sue xx
Such sweethearts! And they both have a wonderful home with you. I do miss having a dog around. X
ReplyDeleteI must say Mavis looks such a confident little dog - terriers are such bright dogs aren't they? But, of course, having had a pug in the past myself, pugs hold a special place in my heart. Almost all dogs are lovely providing they are treated well and their needs are met. It infuriates me how some people get dogs and then mistreat them.
ReplyDeleteAaaahhhhhhh - lovely photos.

Both so cute.. :o)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for giving Mavis such a good home. We are between dogs ATM but I am a sucker for JRs in general and a total sucker for posts about Mavis.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore Mavis. She certainly merits a 'Just Mavis' post to herself :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww Mavis - we can tell you are a lovely little lady. You too Suki.
ReplyDeleteShe is looking so well, you have two gorgeous girls.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see these pictures of Mavis and Suky of course. What a difference to the
ReplyDeleteMavis you brought home after all those months after she was stolen.
Such loveable litttle faces. They have such a lovely life and home.:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update. I was wondering how she was getting on and whether you could trust her off her lead now. She looks amazing compared with how she was when you first had her and then when you re-rescued her!
ReplyDeleteIs Suky managing to retain her trim figure? ( with a little help). Sue
She is looking really well now, thanks to your love and kindness. I like all your pets, but she is the best, a little sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely and I remember you racing half way across the country to bring her back home xx
ReplyDeleteI feel sure we all love Mavis!!! :)
ReplyDeleteJust Mavis is lovely and I love that she visits Chicken World.
ReplyDeleteOf course Suky is darling.
cheers, parsnip
Mavis looks wonderful - what a great photo of her in the paddock. They are two lucky little girls - every animal deserves to be loved and looked after.
ReplyDeleteI'll never forget how you drove cross country to pick up Mavis after she's been stolen. I've been a massive fan ever since (of both you and Mavis :-))
ReplyDeleteThey are both so beautiful, each in her own way :)
ReplyDeletesuper cute doggies. Look at their little faces. And oh my word! Look how much weight Suky has lost!
ReplyDeleteI remember how Mavis came into your lives and am pleased she found a happy place in your home. I have fallen in love with her too (and must not forget Suky - just look at those eyes!)
