Have You Signed Up Yet ?

In just one weeks time, lots of us ex-Harcombers, current Harcombers and people who have never even tried it before are joining in to have a '14 Day Summer Blitz'.

Fourteen days of eating real foods, no calorie counting, no specific exercises, just move around at your own pace doing what you want to do, nothing too challenging at all really, just being nice to yourself and getting your body into a good place, one it's perhaps not been into before or for a long time.

You can sign up to join in  http://theharcombediet.com/Summerblitz/ there are no strings attached, it is completely free of charge and all that will happen is that you will receive this free workbook to help you on your way.  Each and every day during the Blitz you will get an email with tips and inspiration and then it's all up to you.

I've signed up printed off my workbook and dusted off my Harcombe books and recipe book (although you really don't need them .... if you do want your own copies they are available to buy on the Harcombe website with a 30% saving between now and the end of the Blitz).

Fancy joining me?

Apologies

First I'd like to say a big fat sorry to all those of you who clicked on my Blog link yesterday and got a post that wasn't there.

It was all to do with me getting the Blog onto Bloglovin' and being the techno whizz kid that I'm not, published something I didn't need to and then deleted it, but obviously it stayed on a lot of folks sidebars for the day confusing you all!!

Elaine over at Ted and Bunny has done something similar today to but fear not if you click on her Blog simply click on the name  of it ...Ted and Bunny, rather than the post title and you will get today's post.  Can't you tell we're in cahoots behind the scenes.

Us techno non whizz kids have to stick together :-)

You will notice that yes, the photo above is one off my old camera - again.  I'm still working out how to use the new one to the best of it's ability.  I have now managed to download the instructions so I will be having a read later today after my workout.

Life is only tough for me when it's computer driven - why have they stopped giving out little instruction books with things you buy, don't they realise that some of us just want to sit back with a cup of coffee and read, on paper, about our news toys!!

Well I'm off to jig my stuff with Rosemary Conley, I haven't done this particular Dvd before, in fact I don't think I've ever done one of her workouts, so wish me luck, but it was £1 in a charity shop many moons ago, so I think I'll have a change from my usual one and give it a whirl.

A change is as good as a rest.

After that it's weeding, weeding oh and perhaps a bit more weeding, the plants and weeds here obviously had better weather than we did over last weekend and they are currently winning the battle ...... but not for long!!

Gearing up for the Diet

Today we're gearing up for the slight change in diet, lots of totally inappropriate food has been thrown out (don't panic most of it is out of date and not useful to anyone else).  We are determined to step off the processed food conveyor belt.  Now that most of the initial planting is done I will have the time to cook from scratch all the time.  No more convenience meals, well not bought ones anyway, we have lots of our own, Soups, Mediterranean Veg selections and things along those lines  safely tucked away in the freezer ready for those days when you just can't be bothered.  And admit it we all have those!

The chickens enjoyed the sun yesterday, luckily it looks as though they are going to be getting another day of it. They use the houses for shade when it's hot, and the only thing they are missing is a good dust bathing area, although they have made themselves a little one in the old Eglu run.  I must do something about this today.  The new girls are very at home now and although still timid around me, the logistics of the flock has been sorted out and they are all happy together.

I am going to play a Joker today as Lovely Hubby has managed to eat his way through most of the meats that we had in the freezer and as much as I would love to support the local butcher, he is expensive for bulk buys and after weighing up the pros and cons I  decided yesterday that I really should, mostly for the sake of my purse, darken the doors of the local Supermarket.  As if to persuade me even further .......

.....  Mr T*sco sent me some more vouchers to add to the ones already lurking in my purse.  In total I have £18.50, should buy me a lot of dead animal flesh  sorry I mean meat!! So Mr T*sco is paying for most of my shopping then.

The diet kicks off tomorrow and I'll be plotting our menus and recording our daily thoughts etc over on my other Blog, nip over and have a peek from time to time if you're interested.  I simply want to keep menus etc seperately so will continue in my own inimitable fashion to record our normal day to day activities here. No doubt the two will overlap occasionally but you are a very forgiving little band of readers that I suspect are getting used to my wild and wacky ramblings.

And for that I THANK YOU.
