Frustration

Blogger is being so frustrating at the moment.  I can't leave a comment on anyones Blog if they use 'embedded below post' comments.  Lots of others folk have commented on this and are also having trouble.

Today and yesterday my Blogging Buddy SFT had wonderful Blog posts and I tried and tried to leave a comment but frustratingly couldn't managed it.  The little birds in the picture are a tribute to SFT who's post was about lovely birds, mine are frustratingly fighting over the same piece of bread.

So please all of you out there who usually find comments from me in your comment box, I have not given up on you, I am reading just as regularly, I am just not able to comment anymore.

I don't know what system Blogger has changed but folk had this same problem on my Blog until I changed to a 'pop up comments box', I chose full page,. but you can just pick the little box as well and things work perfectly again.  I have also changed to moderated comments for a while as I was being inundated with adverts for Viagra, and I'm sure if you need Viagra you can source it yourselves, you don't need to visit my comment box to find a ready supply!!

  1. I like the pop-up box better, even when it goes full page, as it doesn't have to re-load (and sometimes lose!) the post you want to comment on.

  2. Hi Sue
Thank you for the info - really useful! I love the photo of the two birds. Reminds of my children when they were smaller.

  5. The only fix seems to be changing to Google Chrome as your browser. It cures all and is faster too.

btw, an elderly lady from our church was telling me how much she loves Escape to The Country, and "weren't those pigs wonderful the other week?" Really hard to explain to her how I consider you a friend, even tho we only know each other thru the internet!!!

  7. I am having similar problems, but as I am not blogging as much I am hoping the issue will sort itself out. I will keep alert to see if there is a solution though, as I don't like my readers thinking that I am not reading or leaving comments on their blog either.

  11. Excellent information however I’d like to let you know that I think there is problem with your RSS feeds as they seem to not be working for me. May be just me but I thought overall I would cite it.

Sorry but I have added word verification to try and curtail the unprecedented amount of spammers recently posting comments. I will try this rather than stop Anonymous Users commenting for the time being to see if this will solve the problem. Thank you for your patience.
