Please step into our hall, would you wipe your feet, I've just hoovered :-)
We can take it in turns to sit on the chairs ...
... I'll sit first while you peep through the doorway into the kitchen.
Or perhaps I should show you into the bathroom first, it's just off the living room to the right of the fireplace ...
.... I know, a strange place to have it, but handy for commercial breaks :-)
It's all scrubbed and sparkling clean now, I have been working hard.
So has Lovely Hubby ...
... he'd starting pulling out the unit where the Aga is going to sit before I remembered to grab my camera (yes, I'm a bad, bad Blogger).
Unit out and the cooker hood down.
We have to lay some tiles on the floor and up the wall behind where the Aga will sit. The cupboard and drawers will move to the other side of the room, you can see the gap behind the ladders where is will go in the photo above. The little cupboard that is there already will move to the end of the breakfast bar to support it and the gap visible from the front will have a bookshelf in it.
Through the open plan doorway and you are in the conservatory, this is where our dining table will go on the left, the large chest freezer and the apple store will fit nicely on the right hand side. We were going to have all the pet beds in here but after having a wild rain storm and hearing the noise on the roof through the night we know Rosy will be too scared, especially at first so we've had a re-think and the dogs will sleep in the kitchen near the radiator and the fridge, much cosier. The cats will be fine though in their little padded wigwams.
Looking back through the doorway to the kitchen. This spare piece of oak worktop is going to be sliced into three to make some nice chunky shelves that will sit to the left of the Aga.

At the top of the stairs to the left we have the spare room ...
.. nice and simple, there's a lovely little slanted wall in the corner behind me as I took this photo which we hope to put a little cast iron fireplace onto, just for show.
But I guess with a view like this the fireplace won't even be noticed during the day.
Looking back out and into the hall ...
.... directly opposite is the upstairs toilet ....
... definitely a' loo with a view'.
This room will be our office, with a desk each. Then we will find out who is neat and tidy and who makes all the mess!!
Just plain and simple.
And then there's our room.
Built in wardrobes and just room for our bed and bedside tables, this is our spare bed mattress which is only a double, whereas ours is a king-size so we've measured carefully and we should just be able to fit them in here and still close the door.
There's a handy cupboard with shelves in the corner and we have a nice new chest of drawers for the spot where the cardboard box is sat.
And with a snap of the fingers the bed is made :-)
And after a walk along the prom at Rhos on Sea and a meander along the pier at Llandudno to clear our dust filled and weary heads we came home for supper. It should have been in front of a gloriously blazing log filled fire, but we forgot the matches ....
But champagne (half price at Tesco ... yay!!) and instant curry with microwave rice (plus chicken meatballs added for LH) filled our tummies and meant that the minute our heads hit the pillows we were off to the land of nod, dreaming dreams of Welsh hillsides and fresh new beginnings.
