That happened to us once. The hand brake slipped on our car, luckily we lived in a cul-d-sac and our car ended up in the neighbour drive opposite. No damage to their car luckily.
Julie xxxxxKC'sCourt!https://www.blogger.com/profile/16768777808237333266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-7283662917219516272016-03-02T05:28:05.466+00:002016-03-02T05:28:05.466+00:00Disaster averted and with good humor, too!Disaster averted and with good humor, too!ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11376645220662546020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-30118759799445766722016-03-01T23:13:22.868+00:002016-03-01T23:13:22.868+00:00You took that remarkably well Sue! I'll bet he thought he'd put the brake on - I got a message from a friend who'd just flown off on a two week holiday, asking me to check their front door - husband had no memory of either alarming the house or closing the door. Well, he'd done both, but it is easy to be distracted.Virginiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06864657381173674455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-31848148542885871322016-03-01T22:01:25.324+00:002016-03-01T22:01:25.324+00:00Our next door neighbours mum called to see her dau...Our next door neighbours mum called to see her daughter last week, and left her car on their drive. She hadn't put the hand brake on and while they were in the house drinking coffee, mum's car rolled forward and scraped down the side of her daughter's car, leaving quite a scratch!
So, I think you were very lucky not to have had any damage caused!
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-84804292212470518372016-03-01T20:38:16.025+00:002016-03-01T20:38:16.025+00:00I'm not sure I could have been so sanguine abo...I'm not sure I could have been so sanguine about itSimon Douglas Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16331409652996600049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-39483644497938314162016-03-01T19:13:00.717+00:002016-03-01T19:13:00.717+00:00Oh Sue, this did make me laugh.
