Perhaps I shall be excommunicated as a real gardener {grin} but life has got in the way and I've not even sown my seeds yet. I have grown my tomatoes like this for the past 6 or more years and they have never suffered with more than a mild blight. For 50p a plant (less when people get desperate!) I don't grumble.

Just a thought (and I am no expert) but don't the plants need air to circulate around them because of the risk of blight when foliage is touching? My first lot just did not pick up, even once the heat arrived, so they are now in the compost bin and the replacements are now at the seed leaf stage. I have three plants from an earlier planting in my raised bed in the greenhouse and the tiny ones will probably join them in the next couple of weeks. As I'm in Scotland I'm hoping there's enough time in the growing season up here to let those tiny ones mature. Here's hoping we're all munching sweet tomatoes in a couple of months :DMarksgranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02870471905590321642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-87833072133162620652016-05-30T14:11:07.506+01:002016-05-30T14:11:07.506+01:00I've got 20 and more to come.
