A tube of pastry in a cardboard box takes up very little space, but the two pies in their dishes take up loads! I cut out initials for my pies - but occasionally forget what they stand for. S&K is obvious - but C could be cherry or chicken!<br />xxAngelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13494078135251214182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-56170021619500453622013-06-11T14:26:14.139+01:002013-06-11T14:26:14.139+01:00yum. we have been out of the loop, so its lovely t...yum. we have been out of the loop, so its lovely to be visiting. We had Lamb for Sunday lunch as there were 6 of us, with a little bit of chopping and slicing, a tub or three of veg hash, some rice and pasta I had to squeeze 6 lamb hot pots, 5 chicken curry and rice, 5 smoked cheese and chicken pasta bakes, 4 pots of stock and 2 pots of diced chicken for future meals. Oops, there is now a weight on the freezer lid.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18406981075860636289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-71601932361906356752013-06-11T12:48:11.675+01:002013-06-11T12:48:11.675+01:00It can be a problem but have you tried making one ...It can be a problem but have you tried making one week each month a time when you do little cooking/baking and ONLY eat meals you have previously made, from the freezer. This works quite well. After all, you still have the other 3 weeks to make more from base ingredients!Dchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02490191919855219024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-16584262320301896322013-06-11T12:47:31.290+01:002013-06-11T12:47:31.290+01:00I was wondering about the pie decorations! My Nan always used to put pastry leaves on her cherry pies (my favourite, although it has to be cherry pie filling out of a tin!) and now I do the same, its important to decorate!!landcuckoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02539783011453017316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8468906973954014850.post-56471620809474639272013-06-11T10:51:43.539+01:002013-06-11T10:51:43.539+01:00Yes, another one here identifying with this issue....Yes, another one here identifying with this issue...!
